Ready to get more comfortable with your serger? In this Serger Essentials class, we’ll cover the fundamentals you need to confidently use your machine.

Students will learn the basic parts of a serger, how the machine works, and how to create some of the most commonly used stitches. We’ll also walk through threading the machine and adjusting settings to move from one stitch to another, helping you better understand how to get the results you want from your serger.

This class is perfect for beginners or anyone who owns a serger but hasn’t fully explored its capabilities yet.

Students must bring their own serger in good working order, along with the machine manual, power cord, foot pedal, and all accessories that came with the machine. Having your manual available will help you follow along with your specific model.

Practice fabric will be provided so students can focus on learning and practicing the techniques during class.
