BERNINA Owner’s Club: Free-Motion Couching using the #43 foot November 11, 5:30-7:30pm

Ready to take your BERNINA beyond traditional stitching? In this Owner’s Club lesson, we’re exploring free-motion couching!

Learn how to use your BERNINA to couch yarn, cord, and other decorative fibers onto your fabric while creating free-motion designs. We’ll cover the basics of setting up your machine, selecting the right foot and stitch settings, working with different fibers, and controlling your movement to create beautiful, dimensional designs.

This is a great opportunity to experiment, play with texture, and discover another creative way to use your BERNINA. Whether you want to add a little embellishment to a quilt or create a bold decorative design, free-motion couching opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

BERNINA Owner’s Club members: Bring your BERNINA and come ready to sew, experiment, and have some fun!

Please bring:

• Your BERNINA sewing machine in good working order

• Your machine’s power cord and foot control

• Basic sewing supplies

• If you own a BERNINA 43 foot please bring it to class or you can borrow one of ours to try it out.

As always, Owner’s Club is about learning, experimenting, and getting more out of your BERNINA. Projects may not be completed during class.
