Unleash your creativity and discover the joy of free motion quilting! This beginner-friendly class will teach you the essential skills and techniques to create beautiful, unique designs on your quilts. You'll learn:
- How to set up your sewing machine for free motion quilting
- Basic free motion quilting stitches and patterns (loops, meanders, pebbles, etc.)
- Tools of the trade to expand your skills and create more designs
- Tips for tension and thread control
- How to practice and build confidence
- Creative ways to use free motion quilting in your projects
All you need is a sewing machine with a free motion or darning foot, and a willingness to explore!
This is an advanced/Intermediate class. You must have knowledge of your sewing machine both troubleshooting and operation. Your sewing machine must be able raise and lower the feed dogs in order to setup in “Free Motion”
