SEWING MACHINE ESSENTIALS - 1 SESSION, September 11 6-7:30pm

Do you have a sewing machine that you have been afraid to turn on or use? 

In this class, we’ll demystify basic sewing machine techniques and help you feel confident using yours. You’ll learn how to thread it, prepare your bobbin, identify basic parts, and sew a simple stitch. All machine brands and types are welcome.

Limited to 6 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.

Level: Absolute Beginner. No prior sewing knowledge is necessary.

• What you need to bring: Yourself, your machine (borrow ours if requested ahead of time), sewing machine manual (if you have one, many older machines manuals can be found online as a PDF)
• Don't forget for enrolled students we offer 15% off all notions and fabric (excludes machines and machine accessories) purchased in-store on the day of each class. 
• Class length:  1.5 hours

Should you need to cancel or reschedule a class at North Shore Quilting, we require 72 hours notice. A full refund will be issued or you may request a Class Credit to be used toward another class we offer. If a cancellation, regardless of the reason or circumstances, is received less than 72 hours prior to the class, no refund or Class Credit will be issued. Please understand that this allows the educators and team at North Shore Quilting to be fully prepared for the correct number of students and to allow for time to fill the slot in classes that often have a waiting list.
