Dynamic Angles: The Pacific Reflections Quilt Workshop, Saturday June 20, 10:30-4pm

Learn the striking design behind the Pacific Reflections quilt in this technique-focused class! This class is perfect for advanced beginners to intermediate quilters looking to expand their piecing skills and build confidence working with angled seams.

In this class, Jessica will guide you through the process of constructing the Pacific Reflections design, with a focus on accurate cutting, layout, and mastering nesting seams on a 45-degree angle—a key technique that brings this quilt to life.

This is a great opportunity to sharpen your skills while working with beautiful pre-cuts and creating a dynamic, modern quilt design.

What You’ll Learn:

• How to construct the Pacific Reflections design

• Techniques for working with jelly rolls

• How to nest seams on a 45-degree angle for clean, precise results

• Tips for accuracy and efficient piecing

Skill Level:

Advanced Beginner to Intermediate

Supply List:

• One Jelly Roll or 32, 2.5x42 inch strips cut before class.

• optional 1 and 3/4 yard coordinating border fabric 

• Sewing machine in good working order

• Basic sewing supplies (thread, rotary cutter, ruler, pins/clips, etc.)

Included:

• Instruction and guidance provided by North Shore Quilting

Important Notes:

Students should already be comfortable operating a sewing machine independently, including basic sewing and threading. While we will make significant progress during class, completion of the project during the class session is not guaranteed, as sewing speeds and experience levels vary. The primary goal of the class is to learn and practice the  technique so students can confidently finish the project at home.
