You’ll start with a simple 9-patch block and learn the clever trick of slicing and rearranging it to create a stunning, intricate-looking design—without the complicated piecing!

**Supplies Needed:** Fabric requirements will be provided upon registration. Bring your own sewing machine or use one of ours!

What do you need to bring? 

• Fabric Requirements:

✔ Feature Fabric (Charm Squares or Yardage) 

If using charm squares (5” x 5”): 126 squares (or four charm packs)

• If using yardage: you will need 21/4 yards of fabric

• ✔ Border (Optional) – ½ to 1 yard, depending on desired width
  ✔ Binding – ½ yard
  ✔ Backing – 4 yards (for standard 44” wide fabric)
  ✔ Batting – Twin-size batting (72” x 90”)

• Fabric scissors

• Rotary cutter and large ruler.

•  personal cutting mat is optional

• Sewing machines and necessities (bobbins, needles)
