CUSTOM TABLE SETTING ESSENTIALS: MAKE A CUSTOM TABLE RUNNER AND 4 PLACEMAT, Saturday, 11AM - 3PM, June 15
Join us for an immersive and hands-on class designed for beginning and intermediate sewists who want to elevate their dining experience with personalized table settings. In this class, you will learn essential sewing techniques while creating a stunning table runner and a set of four matching placemats.
In this class, you will learn:
- Basic sewing skills and gain confidence in using a sewing machine and stitching techniques.
- Pattern Layout: Learn how to lay out and cut fabric for a table runner and placemats.
- Construction Techniques: Master the art of piecing fabrics, creating hems, and finishing edges for professional-looking results.
- Personalization:Discover ways to customize your table settings with fabric choices, embellishments, and decorative stitches.
**Class Details:**
- **Duration:** 4 hours. 11-3
- **Skill Level:** Beginner to Intermediate
- **Materials Required:**
- Fabric (yardage requirements will be provided upon registration)
- Matching thread
- Sewing machine (optional: if you prefer, you can use one of our machines)
- Basic sewing supplies (scissors, pins, measuring tape, etc.)
Join our instructor, Jessica for a 1, 4 hour session to make your custom table setting.
Limited to 6 students (16 yrs of age or older); 2 students are required for class to meet. If a class is cancelled due to low enrollment, you will receive a full refund.
Level: Beginner. Must have knowledge of how to use a sewing machine. You know how to thread a machine, sew a straight line and wind a bobbin. This class is suitable for those who have basic knowledge of sewing or have completed our "Get to Know Your Sewing Machine" class.
- Students should feel comfortable sewing an even 1/4" seam on their sewing machine.
- What you need to bring: Yourself, your machine (borrow ours if requested ahead of time), and a basic sewing toolkit (scissors, snips, seam ripper, pins, etc.)
- Don't forget for enrolled students we offer 15% off all notions and fabric (excludes machines and machine accessories) purchased in-store on the day of each class.

Class length: 4 hours
- Students will need to have all supplies prepared by the start of the first class. Please select, pick up, and purchase all supplies PRIOR to the first class.
By registering, you acknowledge that you have read and accept the class policies listed below.
Should you need to cancel or reschedule a class at North Shore Quilting, we require 72 hours notice. A full refund will be issued or you may request a Class Credit to be used toward another class we offer. If a cancellation, regardless of the reason or circumstances, is received less than 72 hours prior to the class, no refund or Class Credit will be issued. Please understand that this allows the educators and team at North Shore Quilting to be fully prepared for the correct number of students and to allow for time to fill the slot in classes that often have a waiting list.
We do not guarantee that any student will complete the project in its entirety.
