Quilts of Valor – America 250 Program
North Shore Quilting is honored to participate in the Stonehenge America 250 Block Collection Program from Northcott Fabrics, designed to unite quilt shops and their communities in honoring our nation.
Purpose: The program brings together quilters across the country to create patriotic quilts that will be donated to charitable causes such as Quilts of Valor.
How It Works:
-
Participants create quilt blocks using the Stonehenge “America 250” collection.
-
Completed blocks can be donated to North Shore Quilting.
-
We will assemble these blocks into quilts and donate them to our local Long Island Quilts of Valor chapter.
The Fabric Collection:
The America 250 collection by designer Linda Ludovico features a red, beige, and blue palette with prints inspired by colonial memorabilia, historical etchings, excerpts from the Constitution, and portraits of the Founding Fathers.
Your Reward:
For every completed block box turned in, you’ll receive a commemorative pin and an entry into a drawing for a Northcott prize basket.
Together, we’ll stitch history, honor service, and support our community.
