Discover how versatile your serger can be for quilting in this hands-on Serger Quilting Class. We’ll explore a variety of stitching capabilities and techniques that go beyond basic seaming, showing how a serger can be a powerful and creative tool for quilt construction.
During class, you’ll learn how to:

Achieve an accurate ¼" seam using your serger

Create decorative stitching suitable for quilting applications

Construct quilt blocks using serger techniques, including no-waste Flying Geese

Understand how different serger stitches can be applied to quilting projects
This class is designed to build confidence and expand your skills while creating a collection of stitched samples you can reference in future projects.
Skill Level
Open to all combination serger owners. Students should be comfortable with threading their machine and have a basic understanding of serger operation and stitching.

Your combination serger and all accessories that came with your machine

Extra needles: ELx705 and topstitching needles

5 cones of serger thread (preferably matching)
